Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I currently can’t afford to keep working fully on Boss Noodle for the time being (and haven’t been able to for a while). The reason for this is quite simply MONIES.
Working on Boss Noodle is basically around about the same amount of time and effort investment as a full time job, the key difference being I don’t get paid. I could afford to do this a few months ago, but alas, the well is running dry so I’ve been having to get off my fat arse and do work that actually brings me some income.
Which brings us neatly onto Commissions. To be relatively brief, I am current looking for commission work. Rates and conditions can be found on my Deviant Art page HERE. If I get enough commissions in to tide me over for a while, I’ll then have time free to continue with Boss Noodle.
Now for that promised good news. Chugworth is back. Only now with a new format and a time jump of around 6 months from where we stopped. So you may be asking, “How do you have time to update Chugworth and not Boss Noodle?” Well, Chugworth will only be updating once a week, which is very manageable in conjunction with commission work. Despite this once a week schedule, new Chugworth is around the same amount of material per week as it used to be, due to the fact that the new format is around three times larger.
So in summary:
- Boss Noodle is on haitus because I need to work for money.
- I need money. Pay me to draw you something!
- Chugworth is back! Go read it!

Blargh! I’ve been pretty bogged down with other stuff lately, which is why there’s been a lack of me posting anything anywhere lately. Regardless, stuff seems to be somewhat more in order this time, so it’s back to work.
Anyway, to make this post less boring than it currently is here’s a preview image of Episode 2.
